La Demeure des Elfes, located in the heart of the village, overlooks ancient listed barns and offers a magical panoramic view of the Rhône valley, some of the famous 4000m peaks of Central Wallis as far as the eye can see, and the natural protected forest of Finges.

You’ll feel comfortable from the moment you step through the door and enter our beautiful common room. La Demeure des Elfes offers many nooks and crannies conducive to relaxation and well-being.

The terrace and garden
Open on a 180 degree panorama, terrace and garden offer breathtaking views and a unique feeling of freedom. Our large garden, on the mountainside, is an invitation to meditation, daydreaming, relaxation, reading, whether in the sun or in the shade of a large variety of trees. Located in the heart of the village, time seems to linger, following the beat and sound of the church bells …

The Heart of the Mansion
This is where you will be greeted after pushing the front porch door. Main room or dining room, this is also where you can enjoy our hearty breakfasts which will be served as a buffet. Home-made jams and yoghurt, typical Wallis charcuterie, alpine cheese, fruits, various cereals, a surprise delicacy baked fresh every day… everything to start your day on the right foot!

The fireplace lounge
When evening falls or when the weather inspires cocooning, we invite you to settle down in this warm romantic space with a wood stove, adjoining the dining room. A lot of books for all ages are waiting for you as well as the famous “Oracle des Fées” … if you dare ;0)

The Small Living Room
Tucked away from the the main common areas, you will find in this space something to satisfy your need for peace and quiet. You will also find many board games as well as crafts, coloring books and music possibilities for the little ones.

The Grand Salon
In the Grand Salon, you can view your digital photos of the day on the big screen, play board games with your family or just relax after a nice day in the mountains.
It is also a place to meet and share, where seminars, wellness classes and exhibitions will occasionally take place… follow the program on our Facebook page.
You will also find a hot plate, plancha and a microwave for preparing small meals, baby food or snacks.

Table d’hôtes
Upon reservation, we will gladly prepare an evening meal where we will apply our talent to delight your taste buds and satisfy your stomach.
Being located in the heart of a major wine region, we naturally have an extensive local and foreign wine list as well as whiskeys, gin, Swiss schnaps etc…
